It is not everyday that we receive emails like this. We have been cordially invited to attend the Henry Royce Institute for Advanced Materials Launch of the National Materials Innovation Strategy at the Palace of Westminster.
The Strategy and Action Plan, which will set out a 10 year vision, is designed to ensure that Materials is clearly positioned as not only a strategic sector in its own right, but as a critical driver of innovation across a range of important technologies. It will encapsulate the materials challenges identified by over 1,200 materials innovators spanning a wide range of strategic industries, and will provide a clear set of recommendations developed under the leadership of the Materials Innovation Leadership Group, Chaired by Allan Cook CBE.
To bring this to life, we will hear from a number of keynote speakers in materials research, development and innovation.
